When you contact us

The enquiry form asks for your name, telephone number, the service you need and your message. You can also give an email address and your town or postcode. We use this information to deal with your enquiry and contact you about the work.

Enquiries are stored privately on our hosting server, outside the public website. Where email delivery is configured, a copy is also sent to our designated enquiries inbox. We do not use form details for mailing lists or advertising.

How long we keep enquiries

The form automatically removes website enquiry records older than 90 days whenever it is used. If you become a customer, information needed for the job may be kept separately as part of our business records.

Security and spam prevention

The form uses a maths question, a hidden spam field and request limits. To apply those limits, the server keeps a hashed version of your connection’s IP address. Rate-limit records older than 24 hours are removed when the form is next used. The hash is not used for advertising or tracking you around the web.

Cookies

We use an essential session cookie called express_contact for the form’s security question. It is set when the form loads and expires when you close your browser. This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies.
